There are millions of practicing Christians in France and millions more who are nominally so but not really active. The hundreds of people who developed and executed the whole thing no doubt include some as well. I find it ridiculous that people actually believe they would seek out to deliberately insult so many of their own. It’s just another in a long list of examples of American extremists trying to find any excuse to paint themselves as somehow persecuted. ---
