# IMDB for music?

Mods, I put this into Café because it is music related but please move it as you see fit.

This has probably been asked and answered before but I can’t find any reference to it. Is there a site similar to Internet Movie Database except it is specifically for music? I’d like to be able to search not only discographies but also the times certain artists worked together, the complete list of works that some studio musicians have been involved with and so on. Sure, I can go to Yahoo Music or Amazon or even the record label site but they don’t have all the nitty gritty details and cross references that an IDMB type site would have. Any suggestions?
