Why is it that so few of the actors/actresses have their picture on the page that lists their screen credits? I would think that they or their agents would be happy to post their picture. Any ideas?

I’ve wondered this too. I haven’t a clue as to why an actor wouldn’t be _right_ on something like this (especially if they were really a hot, upcoming newbie or connected in some way), with their agent doing stand-in if necessary. Hell, most folks I know, if they even landed a walk-by in a commercial would be sending in a Glamour Shot just in case.

Sorry I can’t help, but had to add my dismay as well.

They have to [pay](https://secure.imdb.com/store/photoservices/) for the pictures. $35 for the main picture and $10 for the others. Maybe they can’t afford it.

$35 doesn’t sound like much of an outlay for someone looking for work in movies. I’m sure most actors pay more than that for their haircuts. Could it be that Imdb is not used by people in the business (agents, casting directors, etc) and is therefore entirely wasted money? I would find that hard to believe but I can’t think of another reason.
