“I’m melting! I’m melting!”

I refuse to give the cite. If you don’t know it, there’s no hope.

Apologies. You were correct on Princess Bride, White heat and Braveheart. As for the others:

\*\* "From hell’s heart, I stab at thee. For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee. " \*\* Khan in _Star Trek II._ Note that Ahab’s final speech in Moby Dick was rather longer, and we are talking about movies.

\*\* “Dai-sy, Dai-sy, give me your answer true. I’m half cra-zy o-ver the love of you. It won’t be a sty-lish mar-riage. I can’t afford a car-riage—”\*\* H.A.L.'s last words in _2001 a Space Oddessy._ The line **"What are you doing, Dave?** was a minute or two earlier."

**"Oh, I don’t wanna die! Oh, please. I don’t wanna die! Oh, please. Don’t let me burn. Oh, please. Let go of me. Please."** Cagney rides the lightning in _Angels With Dirty Faces_

> Coccotti: Yeah, Sicilian.
> Clifford Worley: Ya know, I read a lot. Especially about things… about history. I find that shit fascinating. Here’s a fact I don’t know whether you know or not. Sicilians were spawned by niggers.
> Coccotti: Come again?
> Clifford Worley: It’s a fact. Yeah. You see, uh, Sicilians have, uh, black blood pumpin’ through their hearts. Hey, no, if eh, if eh, if you don’t believe me, uh, you can look it up. Hundreds and hundreds of years ago, uh, you see, uh, the Moors conquered Sicily. And the Moors are niggers.
> Coccotti: Yes…
> Clifford Worley: So you see, way back then, uh, Sicilians were like, uh, wops from Northern Italy. Ah, they all had blonde hair and blue eyes, but, uh, well, then the Moors moved in there, and uh, well, they changed the whole country. They did so much fuckin’ with Sicilian women, huh? That they changed the whole bloodline forever. That’s why blonde hair and blue eyes became black hair and dark skin. You know, it’s absolutely amazing to me to think that to this day, hundreds of years later, that, uh, that Sicilians still carry that nigger gene. Now this…
> [Coccotti busts out laughing]
> Clifford Worley: No, I’m, no, I’m quoting… history. It’s written. It’s a fact, it’s written.
> Coccotti: [Laughing] I love this guy.
> Clifford Worley: Your ancestors are niggers. Uh-huh.
> [Starts laughing, too]
> Clifford Worley: Hey. Yeah. And, and your great-great-great-great grandmother fucked a nigger, ho, ho, yeah, and she had a half-nigger kid… now, if that’s a fact, tell me, am I lying? 'Cause you, you’re part eggplant.

Actually, it’s “Oh, I’ve wasted my life.” Which I know because I’ve wasted so much of my own life watching The Simpsons. 🙂 Still, good for him for figuring it out while staring down a nuclear missile. Holy crap, speaking of which, we haven’t done one of the all-time great last lines-

“Weeeeee-hooooo! Weeeeee-hooo…” BOOM!
Slim Pickens as Major Kong in _Dr. Strangelove_

Eddie Izzard was in _The Avengers_? That sucks. Oh well, I guess the money’s green. I’ve never seen _What’s Up, Tiger Lily?_, but that quote is hilarious. 😃

Okay, since we’re nitpicking… I believe the line was “sir”, not “Sire”. Also, that wasn’t Patsy, it was Concorde (“Sweet Concorde, you shall not have died in vain!”) Patsy was Arthur’s manservant and producer of coconut-based horse sound effects.

Well, Moby Dick was a movie before Star Trek II was.

However, according to IMDB, the actual quote is. . .

“From hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee. Ye damned whale.”

I don’t know if “Ye damned whale” was in the book.

But, since the poster dropped “ye damned whale”, we’ll have to give it to Khan with a nod in Ahab’s direction.

Allow me to clear up a couple of quips from **Blade Runner** :

“_Wake up! Time to die!_” - Leon, as he prepares to gouge out Deckard’s eyes and just before Rachel puts a bullet through his skull.

“\*I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire near the shoulder of Orion. I’ve watched C-beams glitter in the dark at the Tannhauser gate. All these moments will be lost in time. Like tears in rain. Time – to die.” \* Roy Batty’s death scene on the roof.

Funny quip from a bad movie:

“_Oops!_” - Lance Henrickson’s character as he accidentally blows himself up at the end of **Hard Target**

Evidently you don’t know it, either, if we’re talking about _The Wizard of Oz_. The line is actually “I’m melting! I’m _melting!_ Ohhhhh… What a world! What a world!”

Of course, if you had another movie in mind, so be it.
