The _Mind Control Forum_ web site might not be the best place to get impartial and scientific information on the subject. That would be like using _Fate_ magazine as the final arbiter of the “u.f.o.” question.

And then there’s my favorite Nessie: [The Loch Ness Monster](http://www.coasterphotos.com/BGW/lochness.htm) at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, one of the best roller coasters ever built.

Well, “Nessie on the Net!” [http://www.lochness.co.uk/](http://www.lochness.co.uk/) bills itself as “Nessie’s Officially Original Loch Ness Website!” There’s a clickthrough on their home page that says, “Nessie’s Home Page”, that just brings you back to Nessie on the Net’s home page, so I guess I assumed that it was some sort of official Home Page.

I know they started their company in 1978, but I still don’t think it’s fair.

Ducky, a chip in your shoulder that stores information that can be read electronically is a far cry from a chip in your brain that can read your thoughts and transmit them.
Incidentally, this technology has been around for a few years, and has been used with pets, so it’s only mildly curious that they’re now trying it with people.

OK, that was a joke, but didn’t you hear about the ratbots? [ABCNEWS.com : Scientists Develop Remote-Controlled Rats](http://abcnews.go.com/sections/scitech/DailyNews/rats020501.html) It was done with roaches too, (IIRC first and controlling their nervous system even more directly) but I wouldn’t call them pets.

Of course they will only be used to track terrorists… and with everybody carrying around a cellphone you don’t need chipped people to track them.
