Oh no–I just found this thread as well. My thoughts to the family and friends of Norine. I remember her posting that her name was actually “Norine”, not “Nori-new”. As that was my aunt’s name, I always remembered that. Plus, we were about the same age. So sad. ---

Norine’s Celebration of Life will be starting soon. I can’t attend in person, but my mind and heart is with her loved ones today. I just signed her guestbook and saw to my confusion that someone else signed as me a few days ago. They posted something that I never would have said, either. I loathe the word “grok” and it makes my whole body itch. I’m confused. ---

Urgh. I had no idea her service was today. If I’d known, I could have taken off and gone to it… I’m not even sure what to say in the guestbook. I need time to think about it. To process it. It’s still not real. I’m going to make her lasagna later this week, complete with crisp pepperoni though :). ---

Oh, no. **norinew** was such a good person. I always felt connected to her because she was so honest about the challenges of motherhood when you didn’t get such a great start yourself. She was the kind of parent I hope to be someday. A very sad day. ☹ ---
