Yikes. This sucks. Get better soon, norinew. It sounds like you’re already trying, though. > [@runner pat](#): > > Anyone else find it strange and yet very Dopish that we’re cheering on a _liver_? 😃 > > Hang in there, liver! It’s the one organ that can repair-clone itself. Go liver, go! ---

**ATTENTION** \*\*As of 5:00 this morning, norinew’s kidneys have also failed, leaving her with no hope of recovery. Her husband has consented to her removal from life support, a decision which has been supported by her children and close relatives. Thank you for you kind words and prayers during this tragic time. I encourage you to continue offering your support to norinew’s family, who are sorely in need of it. Further updates will be posted as I am made aware of them.\*\* ---

I am so very, very sorry to hear this. It sounded for a while like she might have been making some progress. This is awful news and my heart and prayers go out to **norine’s** family at this very difficult time. As you can see by the number of posters who’ve rallied around here hoping and praying for her recovery, and by the number of people who listed **Norine** as one of their favorite posters on this board, she will be missed here dearly. ---
