Dear family of Norine , I am so very sorry for your loss. Norine was truly much loved here. In addition to those of us who were lucky enough to be counted among those she considered friends, there are also many, many others like me, who didn’t interact with her much, but were blessed with the opportunity to get to know her all the same, through the wise, witty, honest, and caring things she posted here. I admired her a great deal, and always looked forward to seeing her words here. She brought so much joy to so many just by being herself. She will be much missed, and long remembered. I feel I’ve come to know you all, as well, through Norine, and my heart goes out to each of you. Please take care of each other, and if there is anything we Dopers can do, don’t hesitate to ask. There are no words that don’t sound like platitudes, but they’re all true: I’m so sorry for your loss, which is immeasurable. I pray that you hold each other in love, and that this transition is as gentle as possible for all of you. Please give each other the hugs and tears I’m feeling for you, since I can’t send them through the keyboard. I will miss her greatly, though I know my loss is nothing compared to yours. ☹ ---

Oh man this is sad. :sad: I always enjoyed talking with **Norine** at Dopefests. She was such a wonderful person. And this is a very crappy way to go.
