That sounds like a hoax or a joke. Get it? Democrats show up on Nov 8th, to find an empty polling booth. Ha ha. For what it’s worth, I’m a CA resident; my ballot lists election day as November 7th. “Polls open at 7 AM and close at 8 PM”. I would suggest forwarding a copy of that notice to the CA Secretary of State, who investigates polling irregularities. (Keep a copy for yourself as well.) Funny thing is, I just now read a post by another SDMB-er in [this thread in the BBQ Pit](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=44819) saying that Hillary was telling people the same thing in NY, except with the days reversed for Republicans and Democrats, of course. Maybe somebody should report her to the NY secretary of state. Zarathustra ---
