# Importing (lots of) email into windows live mail

So… Just got a new computer, put in windows live mail 7, and imported all the old emails from outlook express. Thing is, I can’t seem to -find- those emails now. There are many of them (dating back several years) and I can’t seem to figure out how to make them show up in my inbox. Anyone have some idea what I’m doing wrong? (And remember, please, you’re dealing with a real know-nothing when it comes to computers).

First, click on the VIEW tab of Windows Live Mail to make sure that “Storage Folders” on the right is highlighted where it says Layout

Then, scroll down the panel on the left, under Storage Folders, you should see another folder named “Imported Folder”
