I’m beginning to suspect that I learn better from listening to audio lectures rather than from reading material. I don’t really have a problem with reading comprehension (I do fine on reading comprehension portions of tests). Rather, I seem to zone out when I’m reading dense, jargon-laced material, and I’ll find myself 10 pages later without the faintest notion of what I’ve read. Unfortunately, I have to do a lot of this type of reading.

And ideas on how I can improve my reading retention? Thanks for your help.
