Same as the point I made earlier: as a nation, we talk a whole lot abou… I think sweeping tax reforms [that are probably a metaphysical _im_possibilty] are the only way to turn our _putative_ “progressive” tax system into an _actual_ progressive tax system. I have long suspected that it is exceedingly _regressive,_ and getting moreso with each passing year.
