I may be absent from the board and #straightdope for a bit. I packed up everything I own and moved out of my miserable living situation on Saturday. It sucked, and it hurt like hell, but so did waking up every day and realizing I was only still there due to inertia. Moved back in with my parents, for now. I can post from work (am hoping this long post goes thru!) and I can check my email on my parents computer, if anyone wants to write, my email address is in my profile. But I don’t have a monitor for my computer, so till I get one, I’m limited to workday posting. Oh yeah, and oldscratch is also semi-absent; he’s house-sitting for a friend in San Jose and has to install a modem on the computer he’s using. I told him I’d pass that along for him. Heh, for those that thought that’s where I was, hold your horses… got some thinking and planning to do before that happens. 😉 I will be ok. ---
