Chronos has been appointed as our newest moderator and will be helping out Manhattan in General Questions. Congratulations and general applause all around! ---

Chronos? Blech. Just because he has a Greek name doesn’t make him smart, you know. 😉 Congrats, mate! You’ll do fine, I’m sure. ---

Aw! Damn! I was so amused to watch **Manhattan** spiral slowly down into maniacal frenzy of obsession over all the moved threads from GQ. Now he’s got **Chronos** to watch his back and keep him sane so the show’s over. Piffle! ---

Congrats to Chronos. But I have some questions. How does one become a moderator? Are there tests involved? Is it painful? Do you get a cool uniform? Are there any discount deals made with local taverns? I have a new goal in life. As God is my witness I WILL become a moderator. Or a fireman, that looks fun too. ---

I find that works rather well. 2. “Turn to the left and cough” mean anything to you? 3. See above. 4. Gaudere has a cool hat and UncleBeer has a mustache. Whether that’s part of some secret uniform is beyond me. They didn’t seem to wear unis when they went to previous dopefests. 5. One would hope so, in UncleBeer’s case. [nitpick]And you want God AS your witness, not IS your witness.[/nitpick] Congrats, Chronos. I guess nwo you get to be flamed by the brit schoolchildren coming over from CD Milk’s URL. ---

The way I saw it, it was only a matter of time. The man’s been providing help all over the boards for a while now. Congratulations, Chronos! Oh, and: > [@](#): > > [nitpick]And you want God AS your witness, not IS your witness.[/nitpick] [meta-nitpick]Yeah, but **as** God **is** his witness, that means he has God **as** his witness.[/meta-nitpick] ---
