I go out of my way in many replies and posts to note that many countries of various political ilk, often commit similar sins. I don’t recall absolving any particular one. ---

I have not said Russia is at the top of any list of freedom of speech or lack of particular persecutions. But i am also not blinded to so many other countries who also commit sins against such things we should all have. I find that control of the citizens is creeping forward in far too many countries. I am no fan at all of China’s scheme of control of it’s citizens. It is frightening. I fear how it is creeping into too many other countries. ---

I am rubber you are glue, is the basic concept I am feeling personally. But in this thread and the one that inspired it, there are those who give good food for thought. This one actually has devolved real fast and to low standards. I will post some current pertinent stuff in the other one. This one is entertaining. The other a bit more useful. ---
