Why? **Kedikat** is a worthless hateful Russian troll who is here only to spread pro-Russian and anti-Western propaganda, to celebrate the greatness of Putin, and to blame NATO, Ukraine, and especially the US for apparently forcing Putin to invade Ukraine.

The fucker should be banned for hate speech.

To fully appreciate this, one needs to understand Rashism (also called Russism), a hateful and extremist fascist ideology closely associated with Vladimir Putin, and championed here by Kedikat. The symbol of Rashism is a stylized “Z”, reminiscent of a swastika, and is the reason that “Z” is painted on all the Russian war machines attacking Ukraine and killing its citizens.

> Ruscism, also known as Rashism,\[a\] Russism,\[b\] or Russian fascism,\[c\] is a term used by a number of scholars, politicians and publicists to describe the political ideology and the social practices of the Russian state in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, especially during the rule of Vladimir Putin. "Ruscism" and "Russism" are portmanteaus which combine the words 'Russian' and 'fascism'; "Rashism" is a rough transcription of the Russian and Ukrainian equivalents (also a portmanteau The mo...

> Rashism, a portmanteau of “Russia” and “fascism”, also known as Ruscism, Russism, or Russian fascism is a term used by a number of scholars, politicians and publicists to describe the political ideology and social practices of the Russian authorities during the rule of Vladimir Putin. It is also used to refer to the ideology of Russian military expansionism, and has been used as a label to describe an undemocratic system and nationality cult mixed with ultranationalism and a cult of personality. That transformation was described as based on the ideas of the “special civilizational mission” of the Russians, such as Moscow as the third Rome and expansionism, which manifests itself in anti-Westernism and supports regaining Imperial lands by conquest.
>
> … According to [President of Ichkeria Dzhokhar Dudayev], Ruscism is “a variety of hatred ideology which is based on Great Russian chauvinism, spiritlessness and immorality. It differs from other forms of fascism, racism, and nationalism by a more extreme cruelty, both to man and to nature. It is based on the destruction of everything and everyone, the tactics of scorched earth. Ruscism is a schizophrenic variety of the world domination complex. This is a distinct version of slave psychology, it grows like a parasite on the fabricated history, occupied territories and oppressed peoples.”

Putin is a ruthless thug who, along with a handful of oligarchs who support and protect him, has stolen hundreds of billions of dollars from the Russian people and imagines himself a czar-like potentate who will further enrich himself and extend his power by expanding the Russian empire to any and all adjacent neighboring countries.

With that in mind, it’s worthwhile to examine some of Kedikat’s comments in the “Russia invades Ukraine” thread, before he was finally told by a moderator to knock it off. He has been a bit more circumspect in this thread, where he knows he will be called out on it, but observe his earlier posts back in that other thread. My own observations are in italics prior to each one.

_ **Kedikat** begins by parroting the Kremlin line “the Russians are winning”_

> [@Russia invades Ukraine {2022-02-24} (Part 1)](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/russia-invades-ukraine-2022-02-24-part-1/960037/6553):

> Very soon the Russians will have taken most of the territory that the Ukraine forces have been holding and reinforcing for many years now. The areas along the Donbass borders. After that it will be easier for the Russians to advance. A lot of Ukraine forward military assets have been destroyed or overrun. All the while the Ukraine forces have been losing their better trained forces. In spite of foreign donations of military hardware, the Ukraine forces do not have much depth of resupply.
> I feel it has reached a tipping point. Ukraine had the bulk of it’s forces and material on the Donbass borders. It is gone now. I think it will be a much faster advance for Russian forces now. If they choose to.

_ **Kedikat** informs us that the Russians have been very, very careful not to cause civilian casualties. (They have definitely not bombed apartment buildings, hospitals, and even children’s shelters. Definitely not!)_

> So the Russian forces have not gone all out. Trying to lessen civilian deaths and destruction of infrastructure.

_Anything Russia does is justified:_

> Paranoid?
> Oh come on now. Russia is cast as the big bad evil empire constantly. Not paranoid for them to think some folks might have it out for them.

_Russia has no expansionist ambitions at all! Putin is a fine fellow who has no imperialist ambitions at all to return to the old days of Soviet glory! The war is all the fault of the US! (Fact: Not only is Putin’s Rashism blatantly imperialistic and genocidal, but he fancies himself a latter-day czar; he has czarist imagery all over the $15 billion ultra-luxurious palace he built for himself with money stolen from the Russian people.)_ (Bolding mine below.)

>
> NATO has attacked other countries. Fact.
> Russia has realized that the Soviet Union was too big and unruly a thing to exist. The hard core socialist scheme the same.
> **They have not desired expansion for a long time now.** But in return they requested that NATO not expand around them.
> I really think that the U.S. is the one that was most worried about Russia and Western Europe coming to best of terms and integration …
>
> **… So the U.S. via NATO, Ukraine, stirs the pot.**

_In addition to Kedikat’s poor command of English, the occasional lapses into Russian grammar (like dropping the indefinite article here) are interesting._

_In case anyone missed his first statement that the Ukraine invasion is all the fault of the US, he repeats it a second time:_

> [@Russia invades Ukraine {2022-02-24} (Part 1)](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/russia-invades-ukraine-2022-02-24-part-1/960037/6878):
>
> I am stating, not defending, some of Russia’s incentives for this. Stating facts is not championing them.
> I do in fact think that it is the U.S. that is mostly to blame for it coming to war.

_In case anyone missed how much Kedikat loves Putin, he reasserts it here:_

> [@Russia invades Ukraine {2022-02-24} (Part 1)](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/russia-invades-ukraine-2022-02-24-part-1/960037/6879):

> >
> > So why are you trying to defend the actions of a fascist dictator/monster?
>
> Well that sentence just lowers my valuation of your opinions /knowledge. It is so propagandist. Even western media and intelligence services know Putin has stellar approval ratings in Russia. Higher than any other leader in the world?
> He does not need to be a dictator. He has the popular approval.

In short, **Kedikat** is a Putin-loving anti-Western, anti-US, Ukraine-hating Russian troll and propagandist for Russian fascism and Russian hegemony.
