Here are mine (in no particular order between the ten): - That’s allright Mama - All Shook Up - Jailhouse Rock - Suspicious Minds - Don’t Be Cruel - Mystery Train - Stuck on You - Heartbreak Hotel - Hound Dog and last but not least: - In The Ghetto Yeah, I know that last one is tacky and cheesy, but it’s Elvis!! And he sings the song with such emotion you almost forget the cheesy lyrics and you almost forget it’s a Mac Davis song. Just compare Elvis singing a Mac Davis song to anyone else singing a Mac Davis song (i.e., ‘Music in my Life’, ‘It’s Hard to be Humble’, etc.) ---

I think my favourite Elvis song is _Veronica_, although it’s a little depressing. Of course, there’s always _Radio, Radio_. But the thing I like most about Elvis is (was? I don’t keep up.) his wife. Cait O’Riordan’s a cutie. 🙂 ---

Just Ten!?! My goodness, don’t be cruel, **Mycroft**! Lumped together as a group of three are _Viva Las Vegas_, _Suspicious Minds_, and _Such A Night_, which I always think of as a glorious of trio of goofy, jumping, uber-swanky, dance around the house songs. Of the country songs, I love _I’m Left, You’re Right, And She’s Gone_. Moving on to gospel, _How Great Thou Art_ is probably, maybe, my most beloved Elvis song EVER. This one is also a great personal memory for me, my grandmother loved listening to Elvis’s religious music, and I heard this countless times as I was growing up. _Peace In the Valley_ and _Where No One Stands Alone_ round out this category. \Jailhouse Rock\, \Hound Dog\, and \Too Much\ are also favorites, but it’s hard to pick the best of this sound. I think that adds up to ten. ---

Jailhouse Rock (just the opening 2 chords say “Elvis” to me) 2. “One Night” 3. “All Shook Up” 4. “Blue Moon of Kentucky” and " Kentucky Rain " (tie 🙂 ) 5. “Long Black Limosine” 6. “Polk Salad Annie” (I know it wasn’t his hit first, but whoever wrote it probably expected Elvis to sing it) 7. “Are You Lonesome Tonight” 8. “Suspicious Minds” 9. “Little Sister” 10. “68 Comeback Medley” (the one with Guitar Man and others, sort of a Redneck Operetta) ---

The earlier the better for me. I’d put mine down something like this: Baby Let’s Play House Mystery Train Good Rockin Tonight Hound Dog My Baby Left me That’s All Right Mama Blue Moon Of Kentucky Jail House Rock Heartbreak Hotel All Shook Up King Creole (This is my favorite of his movies, too). I do like his singing though, in just about any of his songs, so for that, at least, I do like the later material also. ---

Name any ten songs that were recorded at American Sound Studios in Memphis in 1968 (or was it '69?) , and that would be MY response.🙂
