As I’ve said on the alternative xmas song thread I usually send out my online holiday greetintgs with wierd als christmas song " christmas at ground zero" I’ts a mid 80s dig at the nuclear war panic that was about back then by describing a nuke attack on christmas but wiht the recent usage of “grund zero” by everyone I dont want to look like a jerk So whats the opinion around here? ---

I don’t know, I never heard that song, so going on the title alone, I’d say skip it this year. Of course, I also hate Weird Al, so I may be biased. 🙂 Rose ---

If you want to use Weird Al in your Christmas greeting, why not use _The Night Santa Went Crazy_? It’s still violent, but it has nothing to do with nuclear warfare. ---

Althogh the subject matter has nothing to do with the WTC tragedy I would think most people wouldn’t bother to figure this out. In addition, I think people will still be hyper-sensitive about the tragedy and not in the mood for a song dealing with megadeath. ---
