So my wonderful quiet nice neighbors are moving out of the coop I live in. As soon as they possibly can. They are getting out while the getting is good. Why? Because a couple of weeks ago one of them was approached in the front hall by another member. She asked if he was gay. He said he was. She told him that they kill homosexuals in her country; and if her son were gay, she’d kill him. He said he wanted to punch the bitch in the teeth. All they want to do is live in peace as Husband and…Husband. I’m so pissed right now I can’t come up with any suitable swearwords! I’m so mad, I want to do something, but I don’t know what. I have reached one decision though. I’m moving. I know, it’s a bit of a lame rant, but I just had to **do** something! ---

that’s pretty out-of-character for the personality type I’ve noticed living in co-ops. Aren’t there rules against what could be perceived as threats or hate speech where you live? Why not try and get the rotten apple out of the barrel? ---

And not only that, but it can be a pain in the ass to deal with law enforcement sometimes. I’m sure he’d rather just leave than deal with all that. ---

And Somalia, being the fucking perfect Utopia it is today, is such a great template to use. I’m suprised we haven’t adopted to their ways sooner. Tell her that in her country, she’s not allowed to speak directly to a male, and she should kill herself for doing so. ---
