I’ll make an attempt to post in the spirit of the OP, cause I’m seeing an awful lot of A listers being mentioned. (How does one determine what class they fall into? I don’t think I’m even on the list 🙂 ) My contributions: \*\* MaxtheVool \*\*, cause I’ve met him IRL and he’s a cool and smart guy and I agree with a lot of the points he makes on the board. \*\* Bambi Hassenpfeffer \*\*, cause he’s my best friend IRL and he’s put up with me for close to a decade. \*\* ladyfoxfyre \*\*, who I recently discovered works in a pharmacy(as do I) down the road from me, and we’ve chatted a few times and she seems smart and level headed and cool and also we seem to think a lot alike. ---

Since we are actually here to “praise” lesser known dopers, and even though he’s already whinged about being a C-lister, may I take this opportunity to nominate **VunderBob**! :::mucho clapping::: Not only does **bobbio** spin a good yarn but he also serves as a volunteer fireman in his little community and does good deeds on a regular basis. He’s a real hero-type of guy. ---

Aside from many of the MMP’ers - in retrospect, a few that should have poppped to mind sooner: **Sampiro** , who may the most talented writer of any kind anywhere. **Litoris** who I just want to head south and party with. She’s a no-nonsense, keep your bull to yourself kind of woman. **Indygrrl** because see above. Plus she makes me want to visit Indy and become a stalker. 😉 **Airman Doors** So many times I read what he says, and yell 'hell yeah!! ’ ---

This is a tough one - I was trying to think of names of people who don’t usually get praised, but the ones that stick out in my mind are the ones who usually get praised - **Bricker** , **Colibri** , **Stranger on a Train** , **jshore** , etc… I hope it doesn’t violate the spirit of the thread if I looked through some threads to find names I recognize and think deserve praise, but I couldn’t think of off the top of my head. So here’s a list, in no particular order and with no regard to whether I agree with these people or not. **astro** **Siam Sam** **Cartooniverse** **St. Urho** **iamthewalrus(:3=** **Left Hand of Dorkness** **Otto** **CalMeacham** **ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies** **Exapno Mapcase** **bouv** **OtakuLoki** **swampbear** **madmonk28** **Little Nemo** **Blake** **MrDibble** **Fish** I’m sure there’s others, so this wouldn’t be a complete list, but hey, it’s a shot, right? It’s funny - there’s thousands of people who regularly post here, but there’s very few I could name off the top of my head. I like hanging out here because the other posters are funny, interesting and thoughtful, but I can’t remember the names of most of the people I interact with! ---
