The Halloween episode of the US show they had a seance. To the normies nothing happened. The ghost of Hetty’s housekeeper came back from being sucked off. Not only did she have sex with Hetty’s husband, she was Irish! ---

OK, thanks. I also see from a capsule summary on IMDB that in S.2 Ep.1 of the Brit version, ‘Gray Lady’, a photo that caught Hetty in a window goes viral and they try to capitalize on that. That may also be what @WOOKINPANUBv.2 was referring to. I vaguely remember that ep but not much detail. I should rewatch the Brit seasons. ---

At two episodes a week, it will take ten weeks before CBS gets around to airing the fourth series. Since they’re starting in November and presumably aren’t going to air them during the holidays, we’re going to be well into 2024 before we see it. ---

Even worse. I doubt they will ever get to the fourth series. I checked Paramount Plus just in case they have the UK series there but they don’t. ---

Though if they start with the first season of the US program, we may be able to watch two takes on the same storyline. That could be interesting. ---

Other CBS content becomes available on Paramount+ the day after it airs on TV; that’s how it works with _Young Sheldon_ and the US _Ghosts_. Of course the licensing agreement might be different with the UK series since it isn’t original CBS content. ---

Finished season five. There are some interesting bits of new backstory on some of the ghosts, but to me it seemed mostly like “filler”. ---

I really enjoyed the season premier. A lot of shows have disappointed me these last few years and I worry I am getting anhedonic or something. Coming across the US and UK versions make me realize no, a lot of my other stuff is just not up to what they used to be and maybe now that the strikes are over or maybe heading to closure, we’re far enough past the worst of covid things can get back to the teens’ quality ---
