Man! I must be having a serious nostalgia attack! First I get some very good background from my new Texas friend regarding _The Yellow Rose of Texas_. **Then** I sign on a week later and on the Homepage I find _another_ reference to another of my late Mom and Dad’s favorite songs,_Bye,Bye Blackbird_!

I never knew there were more lyrics to this tune, Songbird!  
Thank you so much!

I miss my Mom and Dad very much, and to learn the history behind these tunes makes me wish I could be with them and enjoy them as they did, without the generation gap!
