# In praise of subeditors

Particularly those who write the banner for the [Guardian](http://www.guardian.co.uk/0,6961,,00.html)’s film page. Today there is an article on Clouzot. The banner reads: **Never mind Les Diaboliques**. A couple of weeks ago the banner read: **The Hulk: you won’t like him when he’s Ang Lee.**
