I haven’t started any Pit threads in a good long while, but in the past I have started threads in the Pit whose OPs included phrases like “verbal diarrhea” and “ignorant mindless puke-swilling shit-for-brains asswipe” and “dog-felching monkey-fondling pig-licker” when I thought it was warranted. I admit I hadn’t really thought of that as _courageous_, since I don’t live in some totalitarian theocratic police state. “Oh, yes ma’am, that’s the Medal of Virtual Valor. I got that one for starting a Pit thread about a _USA Today_ columnist back in 2001. Well, those were dark times. We all did what we had to do–for Freedom!” ---

I’ve seen a few atheist/theist debates on youtube and thus consider myself possessing doctorate-level expertise on the subject, and I’ve noted that Dinesh D’Souza, when arguing for theism, is fond of badly paraphrasing the atheist position in a dumb-guy voice. ---

“continue”? If you were writing this as an essay and one of my high-school English teachers were grading it, he/she would put a red line through “continue” where you quote me, after reading your examples, followed by the standard abbreviation “ww”–wrong word. One swallow doesn’t make a summer–nor do two, for that matter. ---
