# In Search Of: Fortean Times January 2010, Issue #257, Dracula

My lovely and talented spouse **Imp of the Perverse** used 2 articles in _ **The Fortean Times** _ (January 2010, Issue #257) as jumping off points for a paper she wrote a year or so ago. She’s now having to write a paper critiquing her prior work, and so the issue has become necessary again, but we can’t find it - it’s the only missing issue from my pile of FTs. I’ve contacted FT and their e-distributor, but no back issues are available. I’ve looked on e-bay with no luck. I’d love to hear from anyone with a copy or a good lead on a copy of this issue. A loan, a xerox, a digitized version - anything - would be appreciated. We’d be happy to pay copying / scanning / shipping costs, obviously.

Just checked my back issues, but no joy, I’m afraid. Have you tried the mag;s website? They have an archive, but I’m not sure how far back it goes.

In accordance with Finagle’s Law, after literally weeks of looking for the thing, within hours of the initial posting, **Imp** had a sudden brainwave and found the missing issue in an unexpected place.

OK, good, as in the end I couldn’t find that issue in my collection.
