No, that was **aceplace**. Can’t find the thread now. He thought MLK cleverly forced the police in Selma, etc to protect the civil rights marchers by getting all the paperwork in order. With the proper documentation, police weren’t allowed to be racist! ---

And I apologize to adher for suggesting he might have been the source for that particular idea. He’s made enough missteps without my attributing anyone else’s to him. ---

What’s the point of contention here? It’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of Trump. He doesn’t mind Trump taking credit for something the Federal Govt was supposed to do anyway, and for this administration, this was one of the rare occasions where no damage was done.
