The United Terran Federation for that last four hundred years has established a unified human sphere across most of the Orion’s Arm. It is a highly miltiarized yet democratic state resembling a cross between Prussia and the United States of America. It has been hardened by centuries of defensive and offesnive warfare against the various extraterrestrial species. Gigantic fleets manuever and annihilate each other in distant stars… ---

I was hoping someone would say that. In the year 2525? Denny Zager, of Zager & Evans, will still have a [questionable reputation](http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136464) in the world of guitars. The guy is a legendary musician, but apparently uses deceptive business practices. I have no idea where Rick Evans is or how to contact him. Zager’s melodies were always the strongest point of Z&E, in my opinion; Evans’ lyrics, I could take or leave. Sometimes they were quite good - _Candy Machine_, _Fred_ and of course _In The Year 2525 (Exordium and Terminus)_ but the love songs tended to fall flat. There were definitely some gems like _Reginald Ludwig_ and _Crutches_ lyrically, but I don’t think they’d amount to much without Zager’s instrumentation. ---
