I remember covering a San Francisco 49ers game where Jane Krakowski from Ally McBeal was booed for her rendition. I don’t remember her doing anything especially egregious, although to be honest, I was so thrilled to have the opportunity to be at NFL games in those days that she could have sung it like death metal and I don’t think I would have noticed. I do recall that she did a reprise of the last couple of lines, which probably didn’t earn her a lot of favor with folks who were good and ready to sit down.
Is that how most people think of her? I watched a couple seasons of that show, but had actually forgotten she was on it. To me she is much more memorably “Jane Krakowski from 30 Rock”.
Sure, but this game took place about 20 years ago, when 30 Rock was likely nothing more than a twinkle in Tina Fey’s eye.
