You’ve heard about that abandoned [baby polar bear](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knut_(polar_bear)), right? His name is Knut. The first several times I read stories about him, I was floored that they’d name him something like that. _Then_ I realized that it was n-u not u-n. ---

So, in the US, it seems that most elevators are made by a company called Otis. I found out one day a few years back that the most popular elevators in the UK are made by a company called the Schindler Group. Also known as… wait for it… Schindler’s Lifts.😃 ---

There is a nature area near me called Boggy Beaver Wetlands. I also saw a sign for Sandy Beaver Insurance the other day. ---

For the longest time there was a dentist’s office above **S & M Liquors** in Wakefield, MA. Amused every time I drove by. These days it’s a hair salon, which also has amusing potential.
