# In which my 3 year-old son asks "why does my pee-pee have balls?"

Govindha, while I agree with you about telling kids the truth (and we don’t even do Santa or the Easter Bunny in this house) if you read further in the thread, you’ll see that this child _was_ told the truth, at least in the very simplified way that’s suitable for a three year old. As others have said, it can be a challenge to give truthful, understandable answers to very complex questions on the fly. Just “telling the truth” won’t work, with a three year old.

VERY funny! The OP was good **coy** but “It would be a good place to store it” has got to be the funniest thing I have read in recent memory!

**Orange Skinner** , I also enjoyed the part where you “chimed in” from another room… very “older sibling” ish. Well done!
