# In your humble opinion, who are your countries "national treasures"? (other countries, too, if you like!)

Saw Dead And Company the other weekend. Have to add Bob Weir (and, really, all the surviving Grateful Dead members) as a national treasure, pushing eighty and still playing three+ hour shows. To paraphrase the old saw about Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, these guys have been doing everything Jerry Garcia did…_.for almost twice as long now!_

Has she spoken out about Dr. Oz yet? She really needs to condemn his nutty views at this point. He’s potentially leading in a senate race.

Someone mention Ric Flair above but I wouldn’t regard him as a “national treasure”. He has too much negative “baggage” associated with him

As a pro wrestling fan I think wrestlers thought as “national treasures” would be:

**United States** Terry Funk, Mick Foley, The Undertaker

**Mexico** Mil Mascaras, El Hijo del Santo, Konnan

**Japan** Antonio Inoki, The Great Muta,
