The marble is textured exactly like [this](http://63.160.255.35/images/marble/empress-green.jpg). I got it from a friend in Vermont who called a few days ago and said he had roughly 2000 pounds of cut green marble. In all lengths and widths. And he asked if I wanted it. He got it from an old forclosure he had just purchased.\* I said…Hell yeah! of course I wanted it. But now that it’s all sitting in my barn out back…I have absolutely no clue what I am going to do with it. It’s very nice, I really like it, but I have no clue. There is nice terra cotta tile in my kitchen…I suppose I could make a patio or counter top…somewhere? Any doper masons, backyard carpenters, real live carpenters…who have any ideas? I’m all ears. \*He buys up properties in VT and NH and fixes them up…he is not a collector of anything, and he always calls me if he finds something neat…good friend to have 🙂 ---

Sorry…Yes, flooring tile. Not blocks. Actually, not really tile at all. Long planks. They vary from 9 inches to 12 inches wide, and 5, 7,10 feet long, by about an inch and a quarter. ---

Sounds like a good bathroom floor to me. But then, maybe that just springs to mind because I have this heinous sorta-bathroom in my basement that needs to be completely rebuilt. ---

I don’t suppose you can squidge marble back together again like play-dough? If you can, then obviously a large statue of yourself is in order. ---

It doesn’t quidge itself back together but hey a large Rodan-esque ‘thinker’ depiction of myself might be nice 🙂 It is clean, meaning unused. looks like someon cut it and never used it. Most reconditioned marble and such still has the original mortar attached. this stuff is clean. I bought myself one of [these](http://www.toolbarn.com/cgi-bin/products.cgi/MK-1270/) a while back. It’ll cut the marble like it’s butta! ---

I second \*\*Bosda’s \*\* suggestion. Go get some glass-topped tables, and substitute the marble. Then hit a flea market and sell them for a substantial profit! Or get a quantity of white marble and start making chess boards. If you have enough of it, use it as baseboard in your office. Accent your kitchen. Make your cat a really _fancy_ catbox. 😃 ---

Build yourself a half-pipe in your backyard for all the local sk8r bois. Or just dump it on the highway _right before_ the exit where you enter for your daily commute, so that you can have the whole highway for yourself. ---

Have kids? Make a paddle out of one of them. (The blocks of marble, I mean, not the kid.) Be sure to drill a couple holes so that it moves through the air better.
