Yesterday I was tooling about town and found, to my horror, “Licking Hole Road”. A few minutes later I crossed “Backlick Road”. Very weird. Made me giggle like a school girl. Has the porn industry crept into the Naming Committee of your city council? ---

Well, there is a faily well known street here called “Manlove”. Also “Gaywood”, although it’s not as well known. ---

newcrasher, i saw this thread title and immediately thought of Backlick Road but I see you’ve already been on it! I can’t think of any more around here that sound pornographic, but another one that always cracks me up is Pope’s Head Road! ---

These aren’t pornographic per se, but they always give me a giggle because they sound like they COULD be - and they’re all in a row: Hoxie Heine Sexauer There’s a church on the corner of Sexauer, which just makes me snicker like a juvenile. ---

Well, I’ve seen the intersection of Gott & Hiscock. There’s also a 2 block street called Gay Street. While that’s certainly not pornographic, a friend pointed out that all the houses have their front doors facing the intersecting streets, so not one has a Gay Street address. Wow…homophobic houses! ---

I still think that the intersection of the streets **Seaman** and **Cumming** in NYC is one of the funniest things I’d seen. Hamadryad may be able to provide a link to the picture Hitsnarfl took of it at NYC Dope… ---

In Warrensville Heights, a suburb of Cleveland Ohio, there is a brown street sign saying Felch St. Really. Not only That, the yellow sign right across from it says No Outlet! If I can get a photo, I will. ---

I once saw a street-sign for “South Exchange Street”. But it was abbreviated on the sign, so that it read… “S.EXCHANGE ST.” Sex Change Street? huh? ---

There was a popular joke her in Chicago, that there are three streets named after the female naughty bits: Paulina Melvina Lunt I added Pratt, but mostly only UK folks get that one. ---
