When my husband and I were renovating a house in an area that was half ghetto, half wealthy gay couples there was an old UPS type truck spray painted camo–you know, green, taupe, and black spots–that went around some afternoons. It had ice-cream lables taped unevenly to the side and was driven by a very large, intimidating, scowling black man. It played the confedrate anthem. I assume there was a cooler with a couple of popsicles in the back. Strangest thing. ---
