Tahssa, I would be saying that over and over to several people every day. I would literally begin annoying myself. Instead, I just bite my lip and keep my thoughts to myself. Till I can get home and vent to my husband. Or you guys. ---

I’ve never taken anything where I was so convinced I was perfectly unimpaired, only to face incontrovertible evidence the following day (in the form of half-remembered, nonsensical, error-ridden emails) that I wasn’t. I don’t mind being impaired from time to time, as long as I’m self-aware of when I’m too addled to be near a keyboard. Ambien and benzodiazepines are, I came to realize, not my thing.
