That’s not an Oops… that’s a Woo-hoo!
(of course, getting a real contract with a kill fee would be a Woo to the power of Woo-hoo…)

So, Rand, did you somehow not foresee that when you became a lawyer, someone might pressure you into doing pro bono work? Did your eyes kind of glaze at that bit? Were you misinformed and then failed to inform yourself? I guess what I’m asking is, were you incompetent or idiotic?
Did you really just open a month-old thread so that you could talk about a totally different thread??
…with Rand Rover?
And in other news, it’s sunny and chilly in Calgary today. Back to you, Derleth.
I’ll trade you. It’s sunny and hot and windy here today.
Meh. Figured he might get tired of the ‘u r teh ghey’ stuff that he’s brought down on his head recently.
(I’d say “sue me” but Rand might not get the sarcasm.)
If you think I’m being a hypocrite, then make an argument for that position and I will respond.
So…
I came here to commiserate with my fellow freelancers, instead I find this has turned into the Rand Rover show.
Oh well… That’s why we can’t have nice things here.
Just fighting ignorance. It’s taking longer than I thought.
And bravely, I might add. Word is you’re up for the Bronze Loaf.
I have also wondered about this. It’s true- but I find reading the inevitable pile up fills me with a strange mixture of irritation and glee. RR says something audacious and irritating, and I marvel at that. A pile up of retorts follows, which are typically both true and funny. An itch gets scratched. RR will come back and double down, again something to marvel at. Pile on ensues, etc.
Makes me feel like I’m sitting in a folding web chair with a bowl of popcorn.
