# Inconceivable! I have always meant to watch it, but somehow have just never gotten around to doing it. Of course, here on the SDMB, I think that puts me in a distinct minority, but I’m used to being the odd one out. But finally I went to FYE, for the express purpose of picking up this movie (after being chastened by a friend’s horrified gasp when I declared that I hadn’t seen it) and, after several failed attempts, finally got a chance to watch it. Last night. On the train. The guy sitting next to me kept looking at me oddly, probably because I kept failing at stifling my laughter. What a great movie. I’m reminded of a thread someone started a while ago saying that they had finally started reading the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and that suddenly a lot of catchphrases here on the Dope started to make sense. Finally, I have a new relevance for “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” And while I always understood that Inigo Montoya was a Princess Bride reference, now I can appreciate it that much more. And is it here that we have a poster named “Only Mostly Dead”? (If not, it might be at another board I used to frequent.) ::Wonders what other “Must See” movies she hasn’t actually seen yet.:: ---

Read the book, too. By William Goldman, I believe. I think that the movie was done spectacularly well, very true to the book, and properly cast. ---

Woohoo! I saw it for the first time, too, last night - they played it on VH-1 - “Movies That Rock”. I _love_ Inigo Montoya! (and now, by default, the poster here at SDMB, **Inigo Montoya** ).
