At 20 fatalities per day? About 274,000 years. Probably enough time for cooler heads to prevail. Hell the GOP and DEM could possible agree on a SCOTUS appointment in that time. ---

What I heard is a lot of them died from exposure, the temperature and the altitude once they were wounded. I would think they would have medical facilities and staff there, but apparently it wasn’t sufficient or oriented towards the conditions…or it was far enough away from where the, um, battle took place that many died getting there. At least on the Indian side. I haven’t heard a lot of details except that Global Times article that seemed more going for ‘well, we got hurt and died too’ than giving any solid details of what happened on the Chinese side. ---
