_ **Indiana Jones and the lost city of Atlantis** _ Indy and Atlantis has been done in a video game but would be perfect on the big screen (I haven’t seen the latest film but I’m assuming Atlantis doesn’t feature). This synopsis is mine though. In the mid 30s, Indy (played by a younger actor) meets a drunken old sailor (played by Ford) who claims to have visited the legendary Atlantis after he was the only survivor of a WW1 battleship sinking. ---

**Indiana Jones and The Devil’s Triangle** Indy is supervising an archaeological dig in Puerto Rico when a Spanish galleon, in perfect condition, but centuries old, drifts in and runs aground on a sandbar. For some reason, Indy gets involved and joins the boarding party. The ship is devoid of crew, but clearly of 16th century design and construction; Indy notes that it must be genuinely old because the door to the captain’s cabin is made from a type of timber that went extinct centuries ago. On the captain’s table, there is a meal of cheese, wine and fruit, still perfectly fresh, as if served only moments ago. Returning to the main deck, Indy finds a mysterious inscription carved into the gunwale; part of it says (in Spanish) ‘The light of the oceans’, but the rest of it is in an unknown script. Indy ponders the meaning of this and we see him look slowly up, and out to sea. Other vessels are also drifting in; a US Navy cargo ship; a seaplane; a tall-rigged frigate; as well as many other smaller vessels, some of them quite primitive and ancient-looking. On exploration of some of these, further clues are found, hijinks and peril ensue; Amelia Earhart turns up at some point. ---

For that matter, we need to see how Indy was introduced to Short Round. I had thought about that, it’s a bonus to get Western People interested in Eastern History/Culture. The catch here though is The Heirloom Seal of the Realm is reputed to give it’s owner Eternal Life…so a Grail knockoff, but the ‘can’t ever leave Petra’ fine print was created so perhaps another limiting factor could be created. However, in Chinese culture this particular Jade seal implies Divine Authority (the mandate of heaven) to the owner. So perhaps the supernatural power could be Mind Control if this is Ridley Scott directing or the owner could invoke a supernatural Terracotta Army if this is a Peter Jackson flick.
