They could call it the J-Lo. Breast implants are in some cases inflatable, as mentioned above - it’s worth mentioning that the, um, sockets? are removed by surgery later. You can’t just keep pumping away. ---

Adjustable implants do exist - [http://www.topdocs.com/Adjustablebreastimplants.htm](http://www.topdocs.com/Adjustablebreastimplants.htm) (Note - the above link contains pictures of, er, breasts…) - they are adjusted by the surgeon with a syringe full of saline that is injected into a sterile port that sits just below the skin. I do think there is some room for improvement with this setup though. I’d like to see an on demand adjustment - with the fluid stored elsewhere - a separate stomach bag, for example. That way you could change izes as you like. Instead of the port everything would be internal, although a nice option would be an infrared remote control. ---

We don’t _want_ implants to feel real. We don’t even want implants to _look_ real. We want ROUND boobs, that _don’t_ lay to the side when she’s on her back. _shudder_ :rolleyes: I _like_ Jennifer Lopez’s absolutely beautiful butt. Everybody here’s sick. 'Cept me. ---

There was a fairly popular “News Of The Weird” type item months or a year or so ago about a doc in my city of Boca Raton who made inflatable implants. ---

Although I must admit that the central source stomach bag is a great idea… The said woman is now only limited to two looks, 1. Voluptuous and firm butted 2. Pregnant reminds me of those stress toys, where you squeeze them and their eyes bug out… In this case… you’d squeeze them and their breasts and but would grow exponentially… 😃 ---

- - - I have wondered why nobody has done this also–sold air- or some-other-gas-inflatable implants (there might be a better choice than just regular air I suppose). Not for any “quick-adjustable” benefits, but just to get “the look” without getting “the weight” that leads to many other problems. As for problems with “blowouts”, many heavy trucks use airbag-equipped suspensions. It’s easy to make an airbag that can withstand well over 100-lbs sq/in, and a breast implant would have a total of maybe 18? sq ins? So it would easily withstand at least 1,800-lb loads, 3,600 lb loads for the pair, but if any gal has got 3600 lbs laying on her chest she’s got bigger problems than saving her implants. ```auto - Though you might get some interesting effects on airplanes or at high altitudes. Some planning would definintely be in order as to the pressure the things would be set at when inserted.... ``` - I tend to think that contemporary Western society is divorcing the idea that breast implants have to look natural, since most don’t anyway. ~ ---
