Must eat BRAINS!!!
Sorry for the walking dead here, but there dosn;t seem to be any newer threads on this topic, so I will continue on this one. As this one is from 2008, I am wondering if anything has changed.
What is the straight dope on Infrared heaters like this: [http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/lifesmart-1500w-infrared-heater.aspx?a=904121](http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/lifesmart-1500w-infrared-heater.aspx?a=904121)
My parents want to get one to keep the kitchen, dining room and living room (all three rooms are in a row) warm as a supplement to the oil heat from the radiators.

Are these things any good?
