# infrared massagers, do these things work

TheLadyLion got a HoMedics massager for a stocking stuffer and I tried it out this morning. The massagey bit works but the infrared heat just makes red light. If I hold it to my skin I can _just_ tell that it’s on. Did we just get a defective one or are they all this way?
