# Inigo's drinking in the kitchen again!

Turkey in July, hombre!

It’ like turkey in wniter exxept theres [del]dack[/del] [del]daqer[/del] daiquiris intead of Chateau St. Michele Gewurztraminer flowing like Jesus’s own beard (which was a really flow beard, not bristly like mine gets). Annitz like Friday afternoon and the missus will be home from work soon (I’m not working this week because I’m between jobs) and she doesn’t know I’m cooking a freakin’ TURKEY for dinner.

Hey. Chicken (that’s my cat) says we should invite 'Dopers over for dinner. As long as he gets a drumstick. We have all the Hungry Games movies, we could have a Hungry Games turkey dinner mivie marathonfest thing! Who’s innerested, and what 'cha bringing to dinner?

I can get a delicious sweet potato casserole recipe from my SIL andI’ll l bring some dessert, too. Save some of those daiquiris for me, don’t over cook the damn turkey. You had me at daiquiri.

You’re going to smoke that thing a little, right? Delish!

I’ll bring some deviled eggs, got fresh eggs coming out my ears, and an 80s style layered salad. Sure, they’re corny (even with no actual corn in them!), but they’re still good.

Daiquiris are a little sweet for my taste… I’ll bring a nice white wine to go with your smoked turkey. (You’re smoking it, RIGHT??)

Yesterday I found an apple rum custard cake buried in my freezer that was left over from last Thanksgiving, when I made a bigger batch than was needed. Thawed out, it’s just as good as the day I froze it. It should serve 10 or 12. It’s pretty boozy.
