Has anyone heard of exchanging the vitrious fluid of an eyeball?

For those who’ve never heard, there are what’s called Floaters in the eyeball. These are little bits and pieces of tissue that pull away from the inner lining of the eye ball and “Float” around in the fluid within the eye ball.

One can see these floaters, especially when looking at something bright or white like the sky or a sheet of paper.

It can get quite annoying at times.

I had heard years ago that the fluid in one’s eye can be drained and replaced with pure, Floaterless vitrious fluid.

Anybody know of or have experienced anything like this? 🆒
