I’ll sent this to the Pit before it gets sent there although it might be a GQ, GB or an Election thread. My question: Should **Insane Clown Posse** [http://www.insaneclownposse.com/icp2010/](http://www.insaneclownposse.com/icp2010/) sue the Republican National Committee\*\*\*\* for ripping off their act? I’m thinking that the defense of the RNC will be “we were doing it first.” Wudda ya think? ---

Can you link to something more specific, or are you just calling the RNC Insane Clowns for the hell of it? I mean, carry on, and all that, if it’s the latter; but if so, it’s a pretty lazy OP. ---

I guess you haven’t been paying attention to the Republican candidates that are running (or threatening to run) for the office of POTUS. Sorry, that you haven’t read a newspaper or gleaned any political information from the internet. If Bachman, Perry, Guliani, Palin, Powlenty, Romney, Cain, Gingrich, Ron Paul, Jimmy McMillan, Santorum (it disgusts me to even type the word), and a few I left out, aren’t more absurd than the **Insane Clown Posse** then I guess you will never “get it”. Are you serious? There have been multiple threads here about ICP and what everyone’s opinion of them is and for the most part they are decently regarded amongst Dopers. Your thread makes no sense. Yes ICP is over the top but comparing the RNC to them out of the blue is a bit of a stretch that you made no effort to reduce in your OP. ---
