# Insecure password warning?

Hi—Just today (though, to be fair, I haven’t been on the SDMB much lately) I started getting warnings from Firefox (Mac) that the SDMB pages are insecure. Specifically [this warning.](https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Protect-your-privacy/Insecure-password-warning-in-Firefox/ta-p/27861)

Now, I went ahead and logged in anyway, security be damned! Gotta report this somehow. At any rate, what’s the scoop? Is this something that can be fixed?

This came up a few weeks ago [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=822212](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=822212) The big picture is that nothing at the SDMB has changed; Firefox is just warning about how the SDMB has always been configured (more details in the thread that answered my question).
