# Insert Link button causes page freeze

The “Insert Link” button has started causing the page to freeze whenever I try to use it. Everything stops working. I can’t copy and paste. I can’t select other buttons. I can’t use navigation. I have to close the window, or back out of it, to regain functionality. I can code the link into the page, but the button just doesn’t work.

I’m using current release safari, on OS Sierra.

ETA: This worked for me. But I’m on an old Windoze 7 laptop. Could I see some testing from a Mac user, please?
