Well, I work third shift at a hospital (we prefer not to call it “graveyard” around here 😉 ) So that’s why almost all my posts occur between the hours of 10pm and 5am (central) on Saturday through Thursday.

Oh and it’s 5:07 here! I’m on eastern time. I never seem to get to post alongside any other eastern time zone Dopers! Not that there’s anything wrong with pacific time zone Dopers like you, Chrome Toaster!

I have been a life-long night owl. And, I now have a job that caters to that. “Evening Shift” - 3-11 PM. It usually takes several hours for me to wind down after work, that’s when I do most of my SD posting. I get up about noonish every day, do a little email and Internet before going to work. Ah…I just _loooove_ these hours!

EvilBeth, we Pacific Timers know how you East Coasters feel about us! The truth came out in that “I’m in a Zone…” thread not long ago!! 😉 (Sorry about the “Graveyard” reference. oops.)
And Smug, Just wondering, and none of my biz, I know, but does that schedule totally mess with your circadian rhythms?
I would be so thrown out of whack on a cycle like that! (In fact, I think this **one** sleepless night is going to affect me for a couple of days!)

smug–I sympathize with you. I work full time on third shift and go to school full time (four days a week) I’ve been doing it for four semesters now so I fully expect to have a psychotic episode any day now! But on the bright side, my husband is picking me up in about 20 minutes and taking me to breakfast!
