Might want to wait more than half an hour. As for me, I have no guns, want no guns, but don’t give a shit about your guns as long as I can trust you not to something stupid with them or let someone else do the same. ---

_looks at the clock_ Geez, you only let a whole half-hour pass, more people take longer before bumping a thread. My husband owns a Browning 12 gauge rifle-barreled shotgun. We’re environmentalists, vote heavily lefty especially on social issues, and I’m a vegetarian for ecological and ethical reasons. I wouldn’t say I have **no** problem with guns (I’m fine with Illinois essentially being a no-carry state, for instance)… though the [Hello Kitty AR-15](http://www.geekologie.com/2008/02/the_hello_kitty_ar15_is_just_s.php) really wants to convert me to someone who target shoots for recreation. 😃 ---

You’re not the only one. My husband and I are both pretty left-leaning and we have lots of guns. I have two shotguns myself and my husband has a wide variety. ---

I’m a big fat lefty (well, I’m not fat) and I’ve got a Mossberg shotgun and a .357 Smith and Wesson. I’ve taken a concealed carry class, but that’s because my libertarian boyfriend dragged me (and then forgot his damned driver’s license so he couldn’t even take the thing.) I keep them for home defense, and sometimes I go trap shooting with my dad. ---

I believe in a woman’s right to choose. I see nothing wrong with gays getting married. Even when I was in the military I thought DADT was stupid. I don’t approve of the government giving away money but I would rather it go to regular people than corporations who just turn around and use it to pay million dollar bonuses. I also own various handguns, evil black rifles and have over 2,000 rounds of various ammo in my residence. I also have my CCW and carry daily. ---

I guess I am at least socially. I have what the media calls an “arsenal,” and would have more if finances permitted. I have an FFL. Don’t carry because I don’t see the point right now, and it doesn’t exempt you from NICS anymore. ---
