At this instant - no. But when President Biden nominates Whoopi to the Supreme Court(1)(2), all of her past history will be up for discussion. Look what happened to that nice boy Brett Kavanaugh - his sexual assault from 40 years ago was brought up. 40 years! I mean, just because her life was ruined doesn’t mean his should be. Now that it will be a Democratic President’s nominee on the hot seat, the Republicans will come at her hard. What’s sauce for the gander is chicken soup for the goose. (1) It will happen in two weeks, trust me. (2) It has to be either her or Oprah, right? According to my right-wing friends they are the only two black women in America. ---

No. That one’s being dredged up in response to Whoopi’s latest hot take, saying on The View that the Holocaust involved two groups of white people and was not related to race. A brief suspension from the show and semi-apology ensued. Not too surprising coming from someone who defended Mel Gibson during his five minutes of infamy, and wanted Roman Polanski to get a break because he didn’t commit “rape-rape”. ---
